Community
One of our main aims is to help the young women we work with become fully embedded in the community, giving them a sense of belonging, value and meaningful connections. We have partnered with numerous community groups, charities and other social enterprises, assisting at fundraisers, AGMs, conferences and more.
Some of our favourite experiences have been intergenerational events such as Christmas afternoon teas for older people. Feedback consistently highlights how much the young women feel they are contributing to individuals who are often isolated, lonely, or living with issues such as dementia. You can find out more on our Intergenerational page.
We have also welcomed many individuals and groups to our own Brazil fundraisers, which are planned and hosted by our team. Learn more on our International page.
By working with us, young women can earn Time Credits and gain access to local amenities. Time Credits is a national scheme where time volunteered is rewarded with credits that can be spent at partner venues across the UK. Locally, the cinema and gyms are popular choices!
