Young Women

We specialise in supporting young women who may be lacking confidence, experiencing mental health challenges and who benefit from being part of a supportive, female-only team.
Our referrals have come from agencies including Cambridgeshire County Council, Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust (CPFT), housing providers and social care.
Among the young women we have worked with to date, outcomes have included:
79% of participants reported having more work experience to include on their CVs, and 68% felt more confident about applying for work or volunteering opportunities.
Some of the skills participants felt had improved the most were teamwork (63%) and communication (58%), leading to an overall increase in confidence for 63% of young women.
By participating in Turtle Dove, 58% of young women reported having a supportive network of friends around them.
