Empowering the next generation of young women in Cambridge.
Following the success of our first Young Women’s Conference in November 2024, Turtle Dove Cambridge is proud to announce the return of our Young Women’s Conference: Getting Young Women into the Workplace and Business in January 2026, “Anything is Possible”.
This inspiring event brings together young women aged 14 to 24 who are exploring their future careers, alongside female business leaders, entrepreneurs and professionals from across Cambridge and beyond. It’s a day designed to build confidence, open doors, and highlight opportunities for young women to enter the workplace and thrive.
At Turtle Dove Cambridge, we are dedicated to bridging the gap for young women who face barriers such as trauma, early pregnancy, neurodiversity, domestic violence, homelessness or a lack of experience and confidence all of which can lead to unemployment or disengagement from education and training. These young women represent an untapped and resilient workforce, full of creativity and potential.
We believe that local businesses, organisations and entrepreneurs have a vital role to play in creating real pathways to success. The conference offers a platform for collaboration, mentorship and meaningful partnerships that lead to long-term social impact and inclusive education, training and employment.
What to Expect:
- Keynote speakers and panels: Hear real stories from inspiring women who have overcome challenges and built successful careers. Discussions will focus on gender equality, leadership, personal development, and confidence building.
- Networking opportunities: Connect with local businesses, community organisations and young women in an inclusive and positive setting.
- Career and business representation: Meet employers, entrepreneurs and professionals hosting interactive stalls and sharing insights about career paths, training and entrepreneurship.
- Impact: Learn how your organisation can help close the workforce gap by offering employment opportunities, mentorship or work experience placements for young women.

Why Attend:
By taking part, you’ll join a growing movement focused on creating equitable work environments and supporting young women’s empowerment. Your involvement helps strengthen the local workforce, inspire new talent, and address rising social inequalities in Cambridge and beyond.
Whether through sponsorship, hosting a careers stall, providing opportunities or funding our initiatives, your support can make a lasting difference.
